SC to issue monthly cause list as CJP, Bars' representatives decide

From Sept 8 to 22, 225 cases were filed, 205 resolved: SCP statement
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A meeting took place between Pakistan's Chief Justice, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, and representatives from the Bar Councils.
During this meeting, senior puisne judge Justice Sardar Tariq Masood was also present. The lawyers' representatives made a request for the monthly cause list to be issued.
The lawyers emphasised that having the monthly cause list would provide them with the necessary time for good preparation.
According to the statement, a weekly review of filed and pending cases will be reported, and from September 18 to 22, a total of 225 cases were filed, with 205 cases resolved within the same timeframe.
It's important to note that different miscellaneous appeals are not included in the resolved cases.
The statement further mentions that the Supreme Court is committed to implementing the approved cause list for a period of four weeks, and the approved cause list for the month of October has already been released.
